8. Services Provided
The services we perform may include, but are not limited to:
- Document Preparation & Credit Education. We will evaluate your current credit reports from the applicable credit reporting agencies and work with you to identify inaccurate, erroneous, false, or obsolete information. You will select the items you wish to dispute, and we will advise you on the appropriate steps to pursue those disputes.
- Correspondence Preparation. We will prepare all necessary correspondence to dispute inaccurate, erroneous, false, or obsolete information on your credit reports. You will forward to us correspondence received from credit reporting agencies, and we will assist you in preparing further responses as needed.
- Document Preparation Services. We assist clients in preparing a variety of personal, financial, and business documents, including but not limited to wills, trusts, loan applications, contracts, sale agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and powers of attorney. We are not attorneys and do not provide legal services or legal advice. All document preparation is performed at your request and under your direction.
- Tax Strategizing. Carlos Ariel Then is a tax professional with experience in helping clients minimize liabilities and maximize eligible deductions. Our role is to provide education and coaching on effective tax strategies tailored to your situation. However, the tax code is highly complex and changes frequently, and no single strategy is guaranteed to apply in all circumstances. Clients are encouraged to seek a second opinion and verify that strategies remain compliant with current laws and IRS guidance. We do not guarantee any tax outcome, refund, or reduction in liability.
- Insurance Coverage Guidance. Carlos Ariel Then is a licensed insurance producer in the State of Rhode Island and may also hold licenses in other states. When permitted under his licensing authority, he will provide clients with insurance coverage options for products he is legally authorized to sell. In cases where coverage is not available directly, we may refer you to licensed affiliates. We do not guarantee lower premiums, policy acceptance, or claims outcomes.
- Financial Coaching. We offer coaching to help you set financial goals, develop money management skills, and create strategies for debt reduction, savings, and wealth building. Financial coaching is not financial advising. We are not registered investment advisors, brokers, or consultants, and we do not provide investment, securities, or fiduciary advice.
- Consulting & Monitoring. Services may be provided through personal meetings, webinars, video conferencing, telephone, email, or other forms of communication during normal business hours.
Fees & Cancellation: In return for the services above, you agree to pay the fees outlined in your Client Agreement. You may cancel your contract for any reason within five (5) business days from the date of signing by submitting written notice as outlined in your agreement or by emailing carlos@mrthen.biz.
9. Accuracy and Legal Advice
We provide credit, financial, tax, and insurance education/coaching services. While we make every effort to ensure accuracy and clearly explain your options, we do not provide legal advice or apply the law to your individual circumstances. For legal advice, you must consult a licensed attorney.
10. Limitation of Liability
MR. THEN CONSULTING LLC does not promise or guarantee any income, credit score improvement, tax outcome, insurance premium reduction, or particular result from the use of our services or information provided by Carlos Then or affiliated representatives.
- Tax Disclaimer: Tax outcomes depend on current law, IRS enforcement, and individual circumstances. Because tax laws change frequently, results cannot be guaranteed.
- Credit Disclaimer: Credit results vary depending on creditor actions, reporting agencies, and your own financial behavior.
- Insurance Disclaimer: Insurance rates, eligibility, and coverage are determined by the issuing carrier and are outside our control.

MR. THEN CONSULTING LLC assumes no liability for errors or omissions in the information provided. We will not be liable for any incidental, direct, indirect, punitive, consequential, special, exemplary, or similar damages — including but not limited to loss of income, revenue, or emotional distress — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In no event will the total liability of MR. THEN CONSULTING LLC to any party (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) exceed the greater of $100 or the amount paid to MR. THEN CONSULTING LLC for the product or service giving rise to the claim.
